Create a worn vintage pop art design in Gimp. Based off of a Photoshop tutorial at PSDTuts.












great tutorial! I learned about masks finally...
One thing that is wrong is in step 9 -- when you do alpha to selection on 'dogman' you don't press 'delete' to get the pattern gone from the dogman layer. you have to select a big black paintbrush and use that to clear away the mask.
Well, the delete option worked for me. :D
i think i might have messed up the mask somehow -- but i got it to work either way
here's how mine came out -- i didn't do the radiating light part though. i added a little eagle man too that i found online somewhere. it was actually a picture of a sculpture.
