Hey, check out my game! My name's Kasra and I run
Gimpology. My iOS game, Swing Away, is now on the App Store. It features a cute monkey,
sweet vine-swinging action, and it's super fun! Please check it out and tell your friends.
Thanks for the contribution. I've fixed this submission, but if you do post again, please use proper grammar and capitalization in your text. Also avoid creating multiple submissions for similar things (I've combined the Linux and Windows brush installation tutorials).
Your tutorials are great, but I think it'd be better if you picked thumbnails that showed the final result of the tutorial, rather than your site's logo. Thanks for contributing!
I added a thumbnail to this submission and took out the HTML. Please don't use HTML in your posts; if you would like to show an image, use Markdown to display it in the body of your tutorial. Thanks!
Sure, go ahead.
It's font called Delicious. You can download it here http://www.exljbris.com/delicious.html
No more all-caps titles please and thank you :)

Merge the text layers (there should be 5) and then use the rotation tool on the new single layer.
Can you put up instructions on how to color b&w film?

Since some of the steps seem to be unclear, I'm going to try to make a video tutorial for this soon. Hopefully, it'll help.

Sorry about the link issues, I fixed the code. It won't make the urls lower case anymore.

Right-click the link and "Save target as"/"Save linked file". It still works.
Post links to actual tutorials and resources, not these lists.
Are you using the tattoo graphic linked in the tutorial, or your own?

Go to the GIMP site and download the installer:
http://www.gimp.org/downloads/
Seems like the site is gone. Try this tut: http://howto.nicubunu.ro/gimp_rain_animation/
Select the layer (click on it) from your layers list.
Then, set your Foreground color (top color box) to White. Choose the Bucket Fill Tool (the bucket) then click on your canvas.
Does that help?
In newer GIMP versions, the Color Balance dialog is accessed here:
Colors > Color Balance
Sorry, it seems like the site that hosted the tutorial has gone down...

Yeah, the entire gug.sunsite.dk site has disappeared...
Thanks, fixed.
Fixed again!
I updated the link. It should work now.
This is part 1 of the tutorial: it just shows how to make the mockup.
Read part 2 to see how to convert it into an XHTML+CSS web page:
Nice tutorial!
Awesome result dongogo. xD
Wow, great job.
Yeah, I've also looked for a way to delete points, but haven't found a way. Hopefully, we'll see it in the next release of GIMP...
Which brush set does AVG say has a virus?
Hmm, seems like the site is down.
xvalid: you can upload your brushes here so people can download it if you want.
I hope Gimpology is included! ;)
The link is dead. This one works: http://abduzeedo.com/leopards-aurora-borealis-wallpaper-gimp
It shouldn't affect the outcome too much (although I haven't tried with other colors).
Give it a shot and see what happens!
Using the soft brush in step 4, just draw around the bottom edges of you cloud selection.
Please don't post 2 submissions for minor tutorials, combine them. I've combined them for you.
I added a thumbnail to this submission and took out the HTML. Please don't use HTML in your posts; if you would like to show an image, use Markdown to display it in the body of your tutorial. Thanks!
Video added!
Video added!
No problem. =)
Thanks for the submission. I just resized your image to make it fit better.
Note about this post: Due to the short length of these tutorials, I've combined them into one post.
AH! Sorry, I forgot to put the link in. It's there now.
Which blended color look? Do you mean the background?
No problem! Glad you liked it.
Try Ctrl+K to delete or Ctrl+X to cut (if you want to paste it later).
You're welcome! xD
I updated the link, seems to be working again.
Yes, please update the link.
I tested them with GIMP 2.3 on Linux and it seems to install fine. It's not working on GIMP 2.2 though...
Glad it helped you!
Hey, can you post the links to these tutorials please? ;)
Thanks!
I just tried in 2.2 and it seems to work. It just takes a little experimentation with the settings to get it right.
Your syntax for the links is slightly off. Do this:
